Take a Tour This mill village has experienced over 250 years of history. Known as Walker's Mill during the American Revolution, the grist mill and surrounding area hosted British troops during the summer of 1780. Later known as White's Mill in the early 1800's Benjamin Dawson Heath created Manetta Mills in 1896 and for almost 100 years made blankets that were sold all over the world. This is the location of a museum dedicated to the history of the area. The History Center is a non-profit organization that is registered with the Secretary of State of South Carolina. The museum runs completely on donations. Lando Streetview Images Google

Upon finding this museum I was surprised to be out of NC. I guess I should have read the entire description. Thanks for the tour of another state that I'm yet to visit in real life.

Found it! Doesn't look like there is much left of this neighborhood that was probable once a very busy place.

Man this place looks desolate on street view. In fact, if I didn't know better, I'd pass it by assuming it was just another abandoned building. Virtual:
