Caboose and Depot The Train Depot was constructed in the late 1880s. It served as a social and economic beehive for years. Passenger service ended in 1958 but the depot remained in operation until 1966. The train depot stood idle until 1999 when the Town purchased it and relocated it to a prominent location in the Town Green. The building was restored and now serves as the home of the Visitors Center and the Chamber of Commerce. A historic red caboose is also available for the public to visit adjacent to the Train Depot. Stopped by to take a picture of the little red caboose. Looks like it has been recently repainted.
