Not really about any VRC's but rather about the Flags. BonEcho Admin awarded some of your initial Flags but if you want them you will need to do the latest finds. See the instructions for awarding Flags. Should be easier than finding these VRC's I find it amazing that someone from Canada, not familiar with the area at all is able to find these with such ease and not using the hints as a crutch when searching is a testament to your skills. Where are the GCGC locals? They should have a much easier time finding these since they have heard of many or know the area and can make educated guesses for many outside their usual travel areas. Thanks for playing even if we are alone. You will have to make a trip down here one day. You already seem to know the area well.

My version of google maps...not sure how I am supposed to log it with points and all. You just logged it. See, your find count just went up by one. If you want flags for your finds you will have to keep track of your finds and award them to yourself. See the video for how to do it. I will award this one for you to get you started. The rest are up to you if you want them. Don't stop with just one, keep going. There are plenty more.

I stopped by to get this since it is so close by. Much to my surprise the GCGC is no longer listed on the sign! Looks like the new owner of Ballantyne (and my current landlord) decided to take over. Well there you go. Guess that's what happens when you do not keep up with scheduling requirements in order to maintain participation. An interesting way to find out but then I'm sure any contact info they had was out of date.

Bummer.
The GCGC is slowly fading away...

Slowly is kind. Rapidly is the reality.
Anyway,@goingpostnet is tearing it up here. In an attempt to not let him run away with all the finds I found a few Grid caches in the past for the Actual Caches Time Travel catagory. Still can't compete since I prohibit myself from virtual finds that I posted as Admin. Then again he is making both virtual and real finds in rapid succesion. Wish the others would do the same. I guess I need to get out more and take some pics.
Glad at least one member is enjoying the new site.
I find it hard to believe that this is so UNPOPULAR with the masses.

You should be able to clear whole counties with ease. Yep. Member (Rv & Lutzie) Virtual Member (Bon Echo) Real Member (TH) Virtually Real Member (you alone) and only one more level left at this point. I may need to add another if you get there.

themulcher . Welcome and thanks for giving it a try.The "towel" under his arm was actually a cloth napkin from the Town House restaurant that was across the intersection. I lived 3 doors down from Hugh when I was in the 4th grade. He would sit our front porch and play the Saw and tell stories. Does this stock image count? No, not really. That is why you are asked to create or use something unique to you other than yourself and the GPS as a VRC Marker. I knew that some of these would have previously taken images for GC or OCNA and we needed something unique so that they would not be used to log VRC's. It also avoided taking a selfie for privacy. One more time... So I am assuming by this "quote" and other posts you had difficulty finding the REPLY button. It is only on the FIRST post. This is to assure that you see the original post and are getting the right Virtual or Real VRC image needed. In Catawba - Blowhard you posted twice. The first pic was sideways so you tried again. Only problem is that when you post ANYTHING in the VRC hide topics your find count goes up by one. That is why you should not post comments too. (not that you did) You posted finds for 7 but have 8 as a count. Let me know what adjustments you end up making to your posted finds and and I will correct the count when you are done.Again thanks for playing. Try some VIRTUAL finds.
